What is BlockGames?

BlockGames is building a Player Network with Universal Player Profiles that unlock real data economies. This new paradigm empowers the next wave of innovative publishing applications and gaming experiences driven by rewards.

To address the "cold-start" problem, BlockGames Labs is developing proprietary publishing applications that leverage the BlockGames Player Network and kick-start the distribution of Universal Player Profiles.

This platform hosts innovative tools, from player-targeted testing tools to reward-driven user acquisition and engagement engines, along with cross-game interoperable experiences.

$BLOCK Tokenomics

$BLOCK is the BlockGames native token, which serves as the medium of exchange between players, games and applications, streamlining transactions within the Player Network. The BlockGames tokenomics were designed with community and the growth of the Player Network.

$BLOCK is an ERC20 on-chain token issued on the Ethereum chain, which:

• Is fully transferable;
• Can be staked on-chain;
• Can be exchanged to xBLOCK (for in-app use across any of the connected applications);
• Can be redeemed for xBLOCK.

$BLOCK

BLOCK is an on-chain token, used as the medium of exchange for the BlockGames Player Network, with its main utilities as:

• BLOCK is the data fee, facilitating data write & read transactions between players & applications;
• BLOCK is redeemable for xBLOCK;
• BLOCK can be staked for additional rewards;
• BLOCK can be used to perform governance votes regarding platform and community affairs.

xBLOCK is an off-chain, non-transferable token and is one of the main rewards for shared data & engagement across applications connected to the BlockGames ecosystem. It is also:

• Pegged to $BLOCK at 1:1 ratio (i.e. 1 xBLOCK = 1 $BLOCK always);
• Not transferrable;
• Can be used for in-app purchases (IAPs) and other sinks across connected applications;
• Is redeemable to $BLOCK.

xBLOCK

xBLOCK is non-transferable token and its utility is focused on unlocking a variety of benefits across applications connected to BlockGames:

• xBLOCK can be used as a premium currency of the BlockGames Player Network across the connected applications (e.g. used for IAPs, subscriptions and other purchases);
• xBLOCK can be exchanged for $BLOCK with varying rates and waiting periods which is explained in more detail in the Exchange process;
• xBLOCK is used to reward all network participants for growing the Player Network through player data writes, reads & interactions as explained in the Emission Mechanics.
